Where We Began
Finn & Lola is named for the two cats who started it all, and beloved-animal care is still part of who we are. Overnight stays, daycare, and vet coordination are available to households across the lake, at three levels of care depending on how long your animal can comfortably be alone. For our retainer households, it is simply part of the engagement.

What does a retainer actually mean?
You reserve a set number of hours each month and we hold that capacity for your household. Reserved time is priced below our hourly rate, because reserving it is what lets us build a week around you rather than fit you into one.
What if we do not use every hour?
Some months are lighter than others. Hours are reserved monthly rather than banked, since what you are holding is a place on our calendar rather than a balance. In a genuinely quiet month, tell us, and we will put the time to good use somewhere in your home.
Who comes into my home?
A small and known team. Everyone has been background checked and has signed a confidentiality agreement. You meet them, and then they stay yours.
Do you mark up vendor work?
No. You pay your providers directly, at their price, and you see what they charge. We are paid for our time, never for sitting between you and an invoice.
What areas do you serve?
Wayzata, Edina, Deephaven, Excelsior, and the surrounding Lake Minnetonka communities. Small and local is the design, not a constraint: it is what lets the same faces learn the same homes.
Can we start with a single project or a few hours?
Often, yes. Some households start with a single project or a season of home watch and grow into a retainer from there. The exploratory chat is where we work out which shape fits.
What happens in the first thirty days?
We build your household file: preferences, providers, codes, routines, standards, and the small things nobody thinks to say twice. It is the most involved month, and it is the reason the months after it are not.
