Introducing: Molly, Owner + Pet Champion of Finn + Lola

Introducing: Molly, Owner + Pet Champion of Finn + Lola

Hi! My name is Molly and I am the owner of Finn + Lola Pet Hospitality. As a small business owner in the pet care field, I think it's important to know the people behind the care and wanted to share more about myself so you get a better feel for who's who in the zoo over here.

I have been an avid animal advocate since beginning volunteer work in shelters and rescues more than 30 years ago. I am the proud cat servant of Finn, Lola, + Butters, all rescue kitties from the Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem, Massachusetts. I grew up in a household that always had pets, so being a pet companion comes naturally to me.

My career began in the hospitality field, spanning over 26 years, across the country, and across sectors of human-focused hospitality. While living in Seattle, my son had asked to get a job and due to his age at the time, the only option was for he and I to walk dogs together on the Rover platform. Since 2017 we had been watching pets in our home and theirs, walking dogs, and building quite a reputation with our families and in our communities. When Covid hit and the hospitality industry went south, I decided to do this fulfilling work full-time. Our family moved back from the Boston area and I created Finn + Lola.

I recognized a gap in the marketplace. There are so many pet owners who need someone who can step in and handle their pet care needs. Especially busy working professionals. And traditional institutional pet boarding spaces don't work for every pet. Providing caring, professional in-home care for pets across the Twin Cities west metro was my focus and it has been a wonderfully-successful solution for our many families on our client list.

As a luxury hospitality expert, I understand the nuances of care needed for the humans we deal with. I also completely understand the complexities of care when it comes to animals. Having worked with rescue, foster, and shelter organizations across the country, this work is meaningful and so fulfilling. Our roles as advocates, companions, and nurturers is not lost on us. We take this role seriously, with continuing education like Fear Free Certifications, pet medication administration, and animal behavior trainings. Our clients, both human and animal, deserve the best and we deliver that each and every interaction.

We are a small, family-owned business and would love to be a support to you when you need loving, reliable, and professional pet care. New to us? Reach out! Let's set up an introductory call so we can learn more about your care needs and you can learn more about us.

With gratitude,

Molly + Gabe
